Today I got up and did about 70 minutes of yoga which felt amazing. I find that when I do yoga in the morning I’m in am much better mood all day long. Then I got ready and met up with one of my girlfriends for a shopping trip to the mall. She needed to get a costume for a Disney dress up party (she and her boyfriend are going as Minions, which is adorable) so we were hunting for different pieces of the outfit which was fun. I also got a cute little playsuit at one of my favourite boutiques and the book ‘The Winner’s Crime’ which is the second book in the ‘Winner’s Curse’ series (I’m currently reading the first one).
Then later we headed to Manly where we had lunch at Banana Blossom which is a Thai salad bar. They make amazing salads and have vegan options too! I got the ‘Tokyo Classic’ which consists of tofu, Chinese cabbage, avocado, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, green tea soba noodles, Asian herbs & greens and a creamy white sesame dressing. Well it was to die for. In fact, I am still dreaming of it now, definitely have to go back soon! I also had a Loving Earth coconut mylk bar as a dessert. We then went for a nice walk around Manly and discovered a little art gallery which had some cool paintings.
After I headed back home and went for the same run along the headland that I did yesterday. It’s just so beautiful out there! Later at night Ben and I watched Star Wars Episode 1 which I hadn’t seen before and I actually really liked it.
As I mentioned in my last few posts I’m eating raw at the moment, but obviously some of my food today was not and that’s okay. I never said I was going to be completely raw all the time. I made it though week one of being fully raw and intend to continue to eat mostly raw, but every now and then I will have something cooked or processed. I just find that it’s much easier to go out to eat at a restaurant if you can have cooked food. But generally I think that eating raw vegan is the best thing you can do for your body and I have felt amazing this past week!
