And the April fools weather continues.. But whatever! I slept in this morning and then got up to do some yoga and have breakfast (mango, banana, passionfruit and vegan Nutella = Perfection). Then I went for a nice walk along the Dee Why Lagoon and chilled at the beach for a bit reading ‘The Winner’s Curse’ by Marie Rutkoski. I’m only in a few pages but already loving it! And I also had some bananas for lunch. Seriously, eating with a nice few is the best!
Then later in the evening Ben and I went to the Newport Arms Twilight Market, which was nice but a bit small so we didn’t stay long. I also really didn’t feel like drinking, as a matter of fact I haven’t felt like it for about two months now. Some might say that’s boring, but I honestly think its such a good thing to do for yourself! I’m not saying I never want to drink again, but rather just have a little break from alcohol. Its sad how in the mainstream modern society drinking is perceived as being ‘cool’, and people who chose not to are classified as ‘uncool’. Personally I don’t care if the people around me drink, or don’t. I just can’t stand if someone thinks that’s the ONLY way to have fun, period. In my opinion everyone has to make their own choices in life and others have to accept that.
And adding to that topic, there is nothing worse than judging others based on their appearance, when in reality, you don’t know anything about their life. As of recently I am very aware of tying not to judge others. I definitely have a history of very quickly making judgements of people who I only met once or twice. Since that’s a very negative personality trait, I’m trying to better myself and to be more open-minded. But enough rambling about serious matters, here are some pictures of the market:
Today is also day four of eating raw and I gotta say, I’m struggling a bit. Its getting quite cold here in Sydney and I’m just really craving cooked food! But I promised myself to at least go though with it for one week, and I ain’t no quitter. So wish me luck!
