Hello lovelies! Today was a wonderful day, seriously I’m in the best mood right now! I got up and had a delicious fruit platter for breakfast, did some yoga and went for a short run on the beach. In the afternoon Ben and I went on a walk along the coast and up to Warriewood headland where we had some pretty spectacular views! I also found this beautiful quote on a park bench:
Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with their heart and soul there is no such thing as seperation.
I gotta say though, today wasn’t just all unicorns and rainbows, I was in a really bad mood when we were doing the walk and poor Ben had to deal with my resting bitch-face (sorry babe). I don’t even know why I was in shitty mood, it was just one of those weird ‘everything sucks’ moments. But Ben did a fantastic job of cheering me up and we ended up having a really nice day. I think every now and then you have to go though one of these moods, so that later you can look back and think, ‘I don’t know what the fuss was about, life is great’. That same thing happened to me today and I’m glad for it. Like I said, life isn’t always just sunshine and happiness, and it would be incredibly boring if it was.
Later that night we went for another walk along the beach and watched the sun set which was beautiful. We also saw heaps of Rainbow Lorikeet in the trees and I got some sweet shots of them. It was surprisingly cold outside and I realized how much I missed the feeling of cold air brushing against my cheeks and making them rosy. I can’t wait for german autumn and winter, when it gets really cold and you have to put on heaps of layers to be warm, for snow slowly falling and covering everything with a thick blanket. Seriously, there is nothing more peaceful than Munich covered in snow. God I’m itching to go home! But it’ll be a while until winter, after all I’ll be coming back to Munich right in time for the beginning of summer. I’m not complaining!
On a side note, I decided to go raw today! I will try it out for the next week or so and see how I go. So far I’ve been living on the raw till four lifestyle (mainly fruits during the day and a cooked high carb low-fat vegan dinner), and I think its time for a change. Although, if I happen to crave cooked food, I will most definitely have some, or maybe occasionally when going out for dinner. I’ll keep you updated on how I go with eating raw!
